Worl View Survey

"I believe that, overall, my world is the correct one." Yes-5-15%, No-10-29%, Not sure-19-56%

This statement has to do with the class's thoughts of their view of the world. I don't really understand how 29% of the class can say no, if they think(thought) their world view is incorrect why do they continue to keep those views. It seems to me that the only logical answer is not sure, because our world view will continue to grow no matter how old we are. It will continue to grow and will add more things onto it as long as we are still learning.

I can't remember what I put whether it was not sure of no. But in the case that is was a no I believe the argument could be that although you may believe in somethings you're not positive why. For example, in the case of human sacrifice. Why do most people believe that it is wrong? Is it because we have ourselves evaluated it's "wrongness" or because we were taught it was wrong. Maybe said person is still filling in the gaps. Meaning that it isn't fully correct and that although you may have the base it will never be complete without all the holes filled in and probably likely to change. It is all relative to were we stand in life. Today, I believe my world view is correct, but tomorrow is another day.

I believe that no one's world view is correct. Why? Because we as a human species are driven by experiences, emotions, and already established beliefs that are presented for us to take advantage of. Therefore, as we grow older and experience more we come to realize the truth about certain thing, there are several signs about the truth, however many people don't take advantage of it. An example is the wondering of whether or not God exists. All we have to do is take a look at the world around us. We as humans don't have that much power in the world to be able to run this world and everything in it ourselves. God has put us in charge of certain things but he has the power to take it away.

I agree, the only truly logical answers would be yes and not sure. Because if someone said no, and they still had those beliefs, that doesn't make sense. so they either believe that their world view is the right one, or they are not sure, and are in the process of changing them or strengthening what they already think.

My world view isn't perfect and only applies to me. Other people can't agree or understand how I see life. Through my direct experieneces is how I learned and adapted to my environment. The people around me and the area I grew up in has affected my life and how I life laught and learn.
